Cancellation policy
Our following cancellation conditions apply:
- Up to six weeks before departure, we charge 40% of the booking value.
- Up to one week before departure we charge 80% of the booking value.
- In case of no-show without cancellation we charge 100% of the booking value.
Travel insurance
What should you do if something happens to you just before your holiday and at short notice? We recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance. If you are unable to go on your holiday, the insurance will cover the costs incurred. You can easily calculate your Europäische Reiseversicherung premium and book your insurance package here.
Discounts and surcharges

- Summer early bird bonus:
If you book your summer holiday before 1 April and your stay is for at least seven days, we’ll waive the price of one day’s holiday for one person! The early bird bonus does not apply when booking our bonus weeks or when children are accommodated in their parents’ room. It also cannot be combined with other promotions. - Summer recommendation bonus:
Have you stayed with us before? Then bring friends, acquaintances, or family members (who have never spent their holiday at Sportalm before) with you on your next stay! If they’ve booked a stay of at least seven days, we’ll waive the price of one day’s holiday for one person per booked double room! The bonus does not apply when booking our bonus weeks and also cannot be combined with the early bird bonus.
Would you like to spend a special Christmas or a memorable New Year’s Eve at Sportalm? We can’t wait to welcome you with festive decorations, delicious culinary delights, and stunning fireworks.
- Christmas holidays à la Sportalm:
We welcome you to our festively decorated hotel with a little surprise. In the evening, you can enjoy a seven-course gourmet menu with an accompanying wine for each dish. Afterwards, you’ll receive a small Christmas present from Sportalm’s “Christkind”, who is the traditional gift-bringer at Christmastime, and we’ll go on a torchlit hike to Christmas midnight mass together.
The Christmas surcharge is 90.00 euros. - A sparkling New Year’s Eve
On New Year’s Eve, enjoy a seven-course gourmet menu with an accompanying wine for each dish. Afterwards, we pop the champagne corks together and celebrate in style at our renowned New Year’s Eve party with a live band. But that’s not all! We celebrate the turn of the year with two more surprises: New Year’s kisses under an impressive fireworks display and a hearty midnight snack afterwards.
New Year’s Eve surcharge is 120.00 euros.
