Seppi’s winter hiking tip

Become one with wintery nature

Especially over the past year, many snow fans have discovered winter hiking and snowshoeing. Seppi tells you his insider tip here.

Sparkling expanses of snow, unique far-reaching views, and a picture-postcard panorama over the snow-clad 3,000m peaks – with you right at the heart of it all! Discover the idyllic nature of the Kaunergrat nature park on a winter hike. Listen to the snow crunching under your boots and soak up the peace of the snow-bound forests. Martin’s brother Seppi finds his own, personal power hotspot out in the winter nature. His winter hiking tip: Enjoy a tour through icy Taschach gorge! Set off from Mandarfen and head towards Taschachtal, past imposing ice caves and frozen waterfalls. The hike is 1.5km long, takes about two hours, and you’ll conquer 105 metres of elevation. At the end of the tour, you can even have a go at ice climbing! Before heading out, please check the avalanche situation in Pitztal. Our resort awaits you with extensive tour advice, and Seppi would be delighted to accompany you on this winter hike!
